Navio
After Joshua had a good time at Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay, we were hungry, and desperatedly needed a restaurant.
Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay was rated one of best (if not the best) hotel in San Francisco bay area. It was off highway 1, on Miramonte Point Road. It was about 15 minutes away from Lemos Farm.
The road that led to the hotel also led to the Pacific ocean. Navio was on the lobby floor. It had plenty of window tables that could oversee the golf course as well as the ocean itself.
Navio offered Sunday brunch. $88 per person, children under 5 were free. It was pricey, but the selection was huge. I didn't get a chance to taste every dish before I was totally full.
They had a good selection of normal buffet food, such as roast beef, lamb leg, prawn cocktail, crab cocktail; they also had complete breakfast, English muffin with poached egg, ham and cheese, bacon, sausage, Belgian waffle; Very freshly made sashimi and sushi; a ham bar with ham cured in different locations around the world; cheese bar; various Chinese dimsum, etc.
What impressed me most were its seafood section and deserts. Caviar, grilled seabass, smoked trout were very tasty. Macroon, artisan dark chocolate, red wine poached pears were first grade deserts.
Highly recommended the next time you tour Half Moon Bay.
