Today is Father's Day! Joshua and I brought Kenny to the Half Moon Bay for dinner at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. It should be the best hotel in the bay area. The restaurant didn't receive any Michelin stars. However tonight they have a special tasting menu that created by the Resort’s own Executive Chef Xavier Salomon and his father, Jean Salomon.
Two Nights, Two Generations, Two French Master Chefs at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay For two nights – June 20 and 21 – this Father’s Day weekend, enjoy dinner in Navio prepared by father and son team. Two generations of Salomons, each a Maitre Cuisinier de France (French Master Chef), will cook together in the Navio kitchen and prepare a special Father’s Day Tasting Menu, comprised of some of Jean Salomon’s most famous dishes, which were staples on his menus for more than 30 years and helped solidify his reputation as a Michelin-starred chef in France.
Five-course Father’s Day Tasting Menu$75 per person; with wine pairings, $125 per person

Well, to be honest, the food tasted just OK. Nothing fancy, nothing really exciting. Nothing really triggered my buds.
To me, the most memorable moment of the night was when we watched sun sets off the pacific ocean together.
