Picnic in the Park at the Lake!

It has been a long time that I haven't get the time to update my blog! Today finally let me do a short one.
Today I have to register a special program for Josh in the library! I thought why not have a picnic lunch! After pick up Josh from school! We went to the Library but found out it was not open until 1:00pm! So we walked to the Lake and had a wonderful time there.
After the lunch we took a short walk along the Lake. Josh even played a few rounds up and down the slids in the playground. We talked about why all those geese grew fat and get ready for the migration. We found some red berries grew on both the trees and ground bushes. What color the leaves changed to in the fall. We have compared two different kinds of pine trees and found the differences. We found a tree that had pieces of barks came off. Josh suggested barks came off just like skin cuts later gona grow back again. A very interesting point he made. We even talked about the Maple trees that used to grow in Canada. how people collect the syrups in March. Oh such a fun and educational time with Josh! :) At 1:00pm, we walked back to the Library and signed up for the special workshop that gona take place on Nov. 7, 2009.
