Volunteer Tea Party!

May 26, 2010 Volunteer Tea Party!

I started help out in Josh's class since beginning of the school year. It was not easy even in the Kindergarten class. Heh! Because the budget cuts from the government, the teacher to students ratio becomes 1:30. There are tons of works waiting for volunteers to do. Everyday there were one or two moms help out in the classroom, still not enough!  I started to work as soon as I walked in until the final school bell rang.

I cut papers, prepared craft projects, marked the papers, help problem students to finish their school works, made corrections on packets, checked homework, watched kids during recesses, distributed stickers, set up different stations, help with arts and crafts, decorated the classroom for different events, set up the school parties,  also I have taught a little bit Chinese in class. :)

Today in honour of all the volunteers, we have been invited to attend the 'Volunteer Tea Pary'!!!!
