One glass house boat?!
Take a guess, what is it?
Plus we tunnel through so many bridges! They look so real and they are real but in the petite forms. When we cruised under, I thought about we could never pass through them.
Built 2000 years ago, Guilin is a beautiful city of valuable antiques and history in China. As time went by, the China’s Government didn’t pay much attention to preservation of public constructions; thus, the two rivers were separated from the four lakes that stank and people passed by holding their noses. It was hard to associate this sight with the praises of “Guilin’s scenery bests all others in the world.” Since 1998, Guilin City Government has decidedly started linking the two rivers with the four lakes, cleaning silt away, constructing bridges and repairing roads. Now, the night tour of “Two Rivers & Four Lakes” combines Orient natural beauty and the west tourist facilities. When standing on the outdoor deck with a cool breeze blowing over my face and enjoying the attractive night scenes on the sides of the river, I could hardly imagine that Guilin had such a high-class river course construction and enchanting tourist landscapes. The Cruise was fun!
