Maker Faire 2011

Bay Area, May 21 - 22

San Mateo County Event Center

Saturday 10am - 8pm • Sunday 10am - 6pm

At last we finished walking through the whole faire! From 10:00 in the morning stuck in the traffic until 2:30 in the afternoon. I think this is the longest one day trip for us! Yes, we are home couch potatoes family! I left the faire with a big headache, maybe due to the crowded people in the dark closed buildings! We had to find a Starbucks nearby for some cold drinks before drive back home! This is the first time we ever came to a 'Maker Faire'. It was an open eye experience for us. We saw people demonstrated their DIY makings. It is a fun faire for children at all ages! Josh loved to see his favorite Star Wars figure 'R2D2'! Not just one, but four and from inside out! He also loved to join in the Lego fever with lots of other children. He even build a Lego Star Wars Attacker! Well done!
